Data from the U.S. Census Bureau show that the Native American and Alaska Native populations now number more than 5 million people in the United States. Five of the 10 largest American Indian reservations are in Arizona.

The last bill sponsored by Congressman Gabrielle Giffords will heard in the U-S House of Representatives this morning.  The measure toughens penalities for those caught smuggling drugs across the border in ultralight aircraft. 

Independent Redistricting Commission running low on cash

Arizona’s Independent Redistricting Commission says it needs more money. The IRC has racked up hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees over the past several months, and more lawsuits may be coming.
