Attorney General and Acting Governor Tom Horne explains why he's acting to block full implementation of the state's medical marijuana program.

The sheriff of Mohave County in northwest Arizona has begun patrolling the town of Colorado City on a regular basis.

The U.S. Justice Department is suing towns in Arizona and Utah said to be controlled by a fundamentalist Mormon sect. 

Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne is giving more than $400,000 to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office to pay for patrols in Colorado City. He says it's needed because the town’s police department is effectively controlled by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The Arizona House of Representatives narrowly rejected a move aimed at disbanding the police department in a polygamist town.
