At its final meeting, the current Glendale City Council did not vote on a major budget cut. Members voted to table a proposal to trim $6 million – which would mean about 64 full time jobs. 

More bad news for the Phoenix Coyotes. The NHL is ready to cancel games through the end of November.

The Phoenix Coyotes have advanced to the NHL’s Western Conference Finals, where they’ll meet the Los Angeles Kings for the right to play for the NHL Championship.
