Americans love driving. It's a symbol of our freedom that's often taken for granted. But for many people in the Middle East, and especially for women, it's a form of independence that doesn't come easily.

As more of our daily activities migrate online and become public by default, is information about us being used to our detriment? And as countries across the world start to crack down on internet freedoms, is an important part of the 21st century being taken out of our control?
