Glendale City Council delays voting on budget cuts

At its final meeting, the current Glendale City Council did not vote on a major budget cut. Members voted to table a proposal to trim $6 million – which would mean about 64 full time jobs.

The new mayor of Glendale and the City Council meets today for the first time since election day. The council will vote on a proposal to cut the city’s budget.

The Glendale City Council held a workshop on Tuesday to figure out what to do if the city's voters reject a sales tax hike.

Glendale to vote on Coyotes deal

The Glendale City Council is expected to vote Friday on an agreement with the potential new owner of the Phoenix Coyotes.  Under the deal, the city would pay Greg Jamison more than $300 million over 20 years to improve and manage Jobing.com Arena.
