The Navajo Nation’s case against Urban Outfitters is on hold while the parties work toward a settlement. The Nation sued Urban Outfitters in March of last year, saying the clothing company violated trademarks of the Navajo name.
Planned Parenthood of Arizona has sued the state. As KJZZ’s Mark Brodie reports, it’s trying to block a new state law banning public money from going to organizations that provide abortions from taking effect next month.
Housing advocates filed a lawsuit Thursday in Maricopa County Superior Court. They want a judge to stop the state from taking $50 million from a mortgage settlement to help balance the budget. From Phoenix, KJZZ’s Mark Brodie reports.
