A professor visiting Arizona from Spain has died while hiking in the desert. 

The Pinal County Board of Supervisors has approved a permit for a medical marijuana dispensary near Maricopa despite the county attorney's recommendation that it be denied.

Law enforcement in Pinal County recovered thousands of rounds of ammunition in an abandoned SUV this weekend. 

Authorities in Pinal County have found hundreds of pounds of abandoned drugs in a stretch of desert along Interstate 8. 

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu has been cleared in an investigation into whether he abused his authority. Earlier this year, Sheriff Babeu’s former boyfriend Jose Orozco revealed Babeu is gay and claimed Babeu threatened him with deportation.
