The Downtown Phoenix arts district, Roosevelt Row, has received a $150,000 development grant. The money will go toward so-called arts based placemaking.

This month, Phoenix residents elect a new mayor. We decided it was the perfect time to profile some of the neighborhoods in this unique and sprawling city.

For the first time in almost two decades, the Phoenix mayoral election is considered a wide open race, with candidates who come from different regions of the city.

With that in mind, KJZZ is looking to profile the varied regions within Phoenix's city limits.
