Hailstorm hits Valley

Pea- and nickel-sized hail pounded parts of the Valley Friday afternoon. The late-winter storm is also bringing snow to Northern Arizona.

Las Vegas flooding leaves residents, cars stranded

Las Vegas is drying out this morning after a huge storm yesterday left residents submerged in water and scrambling for cover.

Monsoon storms pelt Phoenix area

The Valley was slammed by a pair of thunderstorms last night. Sky Harbor Airport recorded four tenths of an inch of precipitation, but other communities in the state saw heavier rainfall and more. 

Sunday storms cause floods, knock out power

Severe storms in Tucson yesterday downed power lines and caused flash flooding. The Tucson metro area saw between 1 inch and 2.5 inches of rain Sunday afternoon and evening.
