9 O'Clock Jazz Special for 7/27

Kurt EllingToday there are some unique jazz voices to win your heart and many of them are men.  Listen tonight to hear the male vocalists of today, including an Indian, Sachal Vasandani, Mel Torme's son, James Torme, and a preacher's son, Kurt Elling.  Celebrate the tenors and baritones tonight when Blaise features the guy singers of today on the 9 O'clock special.

Many of these singers have impeccable pitch and tone and come from some serious training through music schools.  It's a far cry from Jimmy Rushing, but you'll hear some good voices and some great ideas when the guys take the stage tonight.
