Dizzy Trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie along with his friend Charlie Parker created modern jazz. His father was a band leader and he started playing piano at 4 years old. Dizzy always thought in progressive harmonies and rhythms and early on he was kicked out of bands for his adventurous ideas and his sense of humor.
