Arizona Centennial Minutes

The Centennial Minute features historical tales about people and places around Arizona. Calling Arizona HomeThese 90-second radio spots were written and recorded by Fred DuVal, chairman of the Arizona Board of Regents, and Lisa Schnebly Heidinger, author and great-granddaughter of Arizona pioneer Sedona Schnebly. In 2005, Fred and Lisa co-wrote “Calling Arizona Home” from which these segments are drawn. Their love for the state and interest in helping others explore it during our Centennial year, led to the idea of recording radio segments in celebration of our 100th year.

Segments will be added here as they aired on KJZZ 91.5 FM.
