Mayor Greg Stanton talks about his plans for Phoenix

Prior to his first State of the City address, Mayor Greg Stanton sat down with host Steve Goldstein to talk about Phoenix’s future. Stanton says he’ll be putting his attention on education. He believes a strong education system leads to a strong economy, and plans on speaking up on behalf of education whenever it is threatened in the legislature. Stanton also says he’ll expand the definition of local success to include all cities in the region. He believes that success lies in working together as a region instead of individual cities.
