KJZZ Enews: Fronteras Vote 2012-- LIVE Call-n talk show, May 23 11a.m.-1 p.m.

Changing demographics across the Southwest are challenging assumptions about the electorate. Fronteras: the Changing America Desk will explore how these changes may impact the 2012 election during Fronteras Vote 2012, a live, call-in special-- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wed., May 23.

This special will link seven public radio stations across the Southwest and KJZZ listeners will have an opportunity to share their insights and perspectives.

Discussions will address a variety of issues including how the economy, education and immigration play a key role in voter decisions and whether unresolved issues such as the Dream Act, same-sex marriage and SB-1070 will affect turn out. Fronteras reporters, who cover the complex and controversial Southwestern border on a daily basis will share their insights and analysis along with experts in the field.
