Arizonans are reacting to the U.S. Supreme Court decision to uphold President Barack Obama’s healthcare overhaul. We first introduced you to Bill Nelson and his wife when he lost his health coverage due to a change in state law. From Phoenix, KJZZ’s Nadine Arroyo Rodriguez reports.

NADINE ARROYO RODRIGUEZ: Bill Nelson was accepted into the federal pre-existing health coverage program in April. But before that, he had no insurance. He suffers from congestive heart failure. For six months he had no coverage and even worse, he had a heart attack and was hospitalized three times.  With the federal health coverage he now has, he can afford his medication and monthly exams. Nelson says the Supreme Court’s ruling to uphold President Obama’s national health care program was a win for many in similar situations.
 
BILL NELSON: We feel that it was the right decision. We’re hoping that the decision will in fact put all of us in a position to have better health care and better insurance in the near future.
 
ARROYO RODRIGUEZ: Nelson says he hopes the Supreme Court’s decision will now shift the health care talk from coverage to health care affordability.
