Explaining the impact of SB 1070

Chris Moncayo, vice president and general manager of Entravision Communications, explains why 23 media outlets decided to simulcast a program about Arizona's SB 1070. Moncayo says the point of the broadcast is not about competition, it about the responsibility of broadcasters to inform the public. The program gives an overview of the impact of the U.S. Supreme Court's pending decision, which could uphold SB 1070. Moncayo says despite the controversial nature of the subject, the program was made purely to provide clear information. The program airs June 20 at 5 p.m. More information is available at http://hoysomosarizona.com
