Glendale sales tax issue in court Monday

A Maricopa County Superior Court judge will hear arguments Monday morning on whether an initiative to ask voters to repeal a Glendale sales tax increase should be on November's ballot.

The city council approved the 0.7 percent tax hike last month. A business group then turned in signatures to put the proposed repeal on a ballot but the city rejected them.
