A just-released poll shows Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney continues to trail badly among Latino voters in Arizona and other key states. KJZZ’s Al Macias reports.

The Latino Decisions poll was conducted in mid-June. It shows Latinos in Arizona favoring President Obama over Mr. Romney by a 74 to 18 percent margin, with 8 percent undecided.

Overall among Latinos, the president led Romney 63 to 27 percent, with 10 percent undecided.

The Arizona results were Romney’s poorest performance in the five states surveyed. The other states included Nevada, Colorado, Florida and Virginia.

Another poll question asked if selecting Florida Senator Marco Rubio as a vice-presidential candidate would affect potential Latino voters vote for president. The poll showed 26 percent of those surveyed would vote for Romney if Rubio was selected, with 52 percent saying that having Rubio on the GOP ticket would have no effect.

Immigrations, jobs and the economy are the most important issues for Latinos, according to the survey.
