Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl is defending Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney on claims his company, Bain Capital, outsourced jobs while he was still at the helm. On NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday, Kyl said President Obama was stretching the truth in making the charges.

JON KYL: If you look at the fact checkers, I look at the Washington Post, they say Obama is blowing smoke. They give him three Pinocchios. In other words, he is fibbing, he is misrepresenting the facts about Bain Capital.

Romney says he was only in charge of Bain until 1999, but federal filing show he was President and CEO of the company for years after that. Romney, however, insists he was not running the company on a day-to-day basis after 1999. Kyl says the issue shouldn't be Bain, but the policies of President Obama, which he says cause outsourcing.
