AZ Supreme Court scheduled to rule on death sentence appeal

The Arizona Supreme Court is set to rule today on the appeal of Isiah Patterson.

Patterson was sentenced to death in 2009 in the fatal stabbing of his girlfriend in Mesa. A jury convicted Patterson of first-degree murder, and they found the 2006 killing was especially cruel and that there were no circumstances warranting a lenient sentence.
