Arizona gas prices down

Gas prices in Arizona have dropped more than a nickel in the past week. From Phoenix, KJZZ’s Mark Brodie has more.

MARK BRODIE: AAA-Arizona says gasoline is now six cents cheaper per gallon statewide. The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded stands at $3.57. Nationally, prices have dropped for more than 100 straight days - that average is $3.46 a gallon. Tucson and Flagstaff have the lowest and highest average prices in Arizona, respectively. AAA-Arizona says around the state, Glendale, Phoenix and the East Valley had the biggest drops from last week - each more than seven cents, higher than the statewide average. Nationally, the highest prices are in New York, while the cheapest prices are in South Carolina.
