W.P. Carey School announces new leader

Arizona State University’s business school has named its new dean. The current dean, Robert Mittelstaedt, arrived in 2004 and is credited with boosting the W.P. Carey School of Business’s profile nationally and internationally.

He’s leaving his post effective March first, and will be succeeded by his executive dean Amy Hillman. In a release, ASU President Michael Crow says Hillman has been an important part of the school’s recent achievements.

She’s served as executive dean since 2009, and before becoming an educator managed a retail and manufacturing company.
