KJZZ launched a new program schedule in July with a series of shows we think you’ll enjoy-- including new NPR favorites like Radiolab and the TED Radio Hour, and an all-new KJZZ program called The Show.  Here’s a look at the changes:

Weekday Schedule -  Changes Beginning July 1
Here and Now (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.) – NPR, which recently acquired Here and Now from PRI, will launch its first edition of a two-hour show with Robin Young and Jeremy Hobson. The new hour will replace NPR’s outgoing Talk of the Nation. KJZZ will co-produce the program, providing additional news and stories from Arizona and the Southwest. KJZZ reporters will also share local news reports and analysis.  On Wednesdays, Steve Goldstein will continue to host a local edition of KJZZ's Here and Now at 11 a.m. Science Friday will also remain in its noon time slot. 

Friday Schedule - Changes Beginning July 12
The Show (2 – 3 p.m.) – This all-new KJZZ production will be hosted by Mark Brodie and Steve Goldstein with help from The Takeaway team and several other public radio reporters and hosts across the country. KJZZ will provide listeners with a mix of local and national content with an emphasis on how the news of the day affects Arizonans.

Saturday Schedule - Changes Beginning July 13
Marketplace Money at 5 a.m.
Whad'Ya Know Radio Hour at noon
Ask Me Another at 1 p.m.
Radiolab at 3 p.m.

Sunday Schedule - Changes Beginning July 14
KJZZ Documentary Specials at 5 a.m.
Wait Wait... Don’t Tell Me at 10 a.m.
TED Radio Hour at 11 a.m.
A Prairie Home Companion at noon
America's Test Kitchen at 3 p.m.
Snap Judgment at 5 p.m.
