2007 EDWARD R. MURROW REGIONAL AWARD

The Radio-Television News Directors Association has announced the 2007 regional winners of the Edward R. Murrow Awards for excellence in electronic journalism. RTNDA received 3,150 regional entries. Judges gave 587 awards to 280 stations in 14 categories, including overall excellence, spot news, continuing coverage and investigative reporting, among others. American Idol: Patriot Style
The national anthem is a notoriously difficult song to sing. It spans an octave and a half, and can trip up even experienced singers. The Phoenix Suns basketball team held open tryouts this week, to sing the anthem at a game next season.
