Blaise Lantana

Blaise was born in Tucson and grew up in Philadelphia, where she studied classical piano and organ. She continued her studies at Rutgers University and Texas A & M, where she majored in voice and composition.

Paul Anderson

Paul, the eldest of three children grew up in LaPlatta, Maryland, His parents were both musical and the first jazz record he remembers hearing when he was 7, was "Ray Charles and his Big Band: Sounds of the Genius" Found in a trunk of Motown records left by his Uncle from New Orleans.

Bob Corritore

KJZZ announcer Bob Corritore has owned his own record label and in 1981, at the age of 25, the young blues scholar moved to Phoenix. "I was thinking I would only stay a year, and then return to the music scene that I loved," Corritore says. "As it turned out, I took on a mission to show people here what down-home blues is all about."

Drew Verbis

Drew Verbis grew up in an interracial family and, having traveled the world as an army dependent, is well-cultured. He began his professional music career working for Blockbuster Music and Virgin Megastore, and has worked professionally in music production, photography, promotions, and booking in California, Michigan, and Arizona. He is currently producer and host of Blues and Beyond on KJZZ.
