Mark Brodie is a reporter, and hosts Weekend Edition on Saturday mornings. He comes to KJZZ from WAMC Northeast Public Radio in Albany, NY. He also worked at WAER public radio in Syracuse, NY. While getting his bachelors degree from Syracuse University, Mark saw more snow than he thought humanly posisible, which is just one of the many reasons he enjoys living in the desert. His work has been recognized by the NY State Broadcasters Association, RTNDA, and other journalistic organizations. In his spare time, Mark enjoys photography, rooting for the New York Yankees, and bragging to his family and friends on the east coast about how warm it is in Phoenix.
