( Sarasota, FL ) The history of professional baseball is dotted with can't miss guys who never made in the big leagues. Valley resident Adam Hyzdu is still hoping for one big break. Trying not to become just another number in the Major League Baseball stat books. He still holds his Cincinnati area high school's home run record, passing Ken Griffey, Jr. He was drafted in the first round by the Giants in 1990, but has never made an opening day roster. While the rest of the country was turning up its collective collar, Hyzdu was working as hard as ever in the gym. Which is where we caught up with him. tag: adam hyzdu has a tape recorder with him in florida, and we'll be checking in with him during spring training.
