( Scottsdale, AZ ) At long last, the Alcor Life Extension Foundation has confirmed what many have suspected, that baseball slugger Ted Williams really is cryonically-preserved in Scottsdale. Williams died in 2002. Having a client as well-known as The Splendid Splinter could have been a shining moment for the 32-year old cryonics company, but it dissolved into a PR disaster when questions surfaced about whether Williams wanted to be preserved. KJZZ's Rene Gutel reports that today, Alcor is trying to leave that dispute behind.
