Todd Mcfarlane Isn't Toying Around
( Phoenix )Non-traditional toys, including action figures of movie characters and athletes, have been grabbing a bigger piece of the holiday shopping market recently. And the uncrowned king of the industry is Todd McFarlane, who began as a comic book artist before becoming the head of his own company in the Valley. As KJZZ's Steve Goldstein reports, McFarlane isn't afraid to take chances or say whatever's on his mind.

Alcor Breathes New Life into its Image
( Scottsdale, AZ )At long last, the Alcor Life Extension Foundation has confirmed what many have suspected, that baseball slugger Ted Williams really is cryonically-preserved in Scottsdale. Williams died in 2002. Having a client as well-known as The Splendid Splinter could have been a shining moment for the 32-year old cryonics company, but it dissolved into a PR disaster when questions surfaced about whether Williams wanted to be preserved. KJZZ's Rene Gutel reports that today, Alcor is trying to leave that dispute behind.
