( Phoenix, AZ ) This morning we begin a series of reports on the Valley's real estate market. Home prices and values have sky-rocketed in the last few months and there are varying opinions about the market's future. Some believe there's a real estate bubble that's destined to burst. Others feel there's room for home values to increase further. This morning we talk with Dr. Jay Butler, Director of the Arizona Real Estate Center at Arizona State University at the Polytechnic Campus in Mesa. I asked Dr. Butler why the Phoenix real estate market has been in such a sustained boom period and why it's happening now?
