( Phoenix, AZ ) Members of Phoenix's Asian-American community are unhappy with the city council's decision last night to allow construction of a hotel and condo complex on top of the historic Sun Mercantile building downtown. The two story brick structure is the last landmark of the city's old Chinatown. It's right next to the America West Arena, and owners of the Phoenix Suns want to build an eleven story above it. The City Council tried to craft a compromise but neither side is too pleased with the result. KJZZ's Rene Gutel reports.
