( Phoenix, AZ ) Finally, after off season talk of drug use among the game's best players, baseball is finally back on the field. Spring training is in full swing here in the valley. A dozen teams train here in February and March. More are on the way in coming years. Barry Bloom, who lives here in the Valley, is a national writer for MLB.com, the web page of Major League Baseball. He is covering the steroid scuttlebut in the clubhouse, more teams moving here to the valley... and trying to find out whether home run king Barry Bonds will have a job this season. Bloom says the problem for Bonds is that baseball officials are looking at more than just his performance on the field.
