( Pasadena ) On Sunday, the Phoenix Mars Lander will touch down on the northern hemisphere of the red planet. Scientists at the University of Arizona will then take full control of the first NASA mission set to to search for potential evidence of living organisms there by digging into the frozen layers of the Martian polar ice cap. KJZZ's Marcos Najera reports from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena near Los Angeles.
