Personalized medicine holds promise for healthcare breakthroughs, but it could also be a huge economic boon to cities willing to invest the necessary money, effort and time. A medical treatment designed uniquely for you may sound like science fiction, but in fact it is possible.

The aim of the Arizona SciTech forum is to walk away with a better understanding of what personalized medicine is and how it could potentially affect your life.

An Arizona SciTech forum was presented by KJZZ and Rio Salado College on March 8.

KJZZ’s Associate General Manager of News and Editorial Strategy, Mark Moran, served as the forum moderator. Joining Moran was a panel of experts including TGen Clinical Professor Dr. Michael Demeure; TGen Researcher Dr. Darin Taverna; and Barry Broome, President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.
