As we continue to celebrate Arizona's centennial, we asked you to share some favorite Arizona memories with us. Jarrod Bruner told us about some of his most important times spent outdoors in Arizona.

I met my fiancée while attending the University of Arizona in Tucson. A couple of months after we started dating, I took her up onto Mount Lemmon for a picnic. We sat at one of the overlooks near the top of the mountain watching the sunset. I looked over to her and realized, for the first time, that she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. We've been together six years already and are finally getting married in September.

I'm proud to live in Arizona because of the great overall climate and the diversity of the outdoors -- from hiking in the desert to camping up in the White Mountains with my family. A lot of great memories there.

In uncertain times, it's hard to say what the state will look like 100 years from now. I have hope, though. I hope for the conservation of what's left of the great outdoors, and I hope that when I'm ready to have kids, they'll be able to experience [it] like I did when I was younger.
