Irving Berlin  Irving Berlin's songs have reached the top of the charts 25 times and have been recorded by  Ethel Merman, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, and Ella Fitzgerald.  His music has become part of the American Songbook and jazz artists like Jjohn Coltrane and Dizzy Gillespie have put a whole new spin on his tunes.  Hear Cheek to Cheek, Blue Skies Always and more tonight when we feature Irving Berlin by the jazz giants on the 9 O'clock Special.
