State lawmaker's adult children arrested for heroin trafficking

Two children of a state lawmaker from Kingman have been arrested on felony drug charges. Five people, including 31-year-old Stephanie Goodale and 27-year-old Michael Goodale, were arrested last week after a three month investigation into heroin trafficking.

Their mother is State Representative Doris Goodale, a Republican who represents Mohave and La Paz Counties. Goodale said she was shattered by the arrests and had no idea her children were involved in dealing drugs.

The five people arrested were booked into Mohave County Jail on several felony drug charges. Goodale says both children are bipolar, and that she has no intention of bailing either of them out.
