Democratic congressional candidate Kyrsten Sinema

Arizona's new 9th Congressional District is considered the most competitive in the state and is rated a toss-up by a number of national analysts. It includes Tempe, south Scottsdale, west Mesa and parts of Chandler and Phoenix.

Kyrsten Sinema is the Democratic nominee in the 9th District. She talks about her commitment to working in a bipartisan way, citing examples from her years in the Arizona legislature. Sinema also stresses the importance of an improved education system to helping the nation's economy.

Republican challenger Vernon Parker was on the program Oct. 10.
