9 O'clock Jazz Special for 2/16

  piano Tonight you will meet the future of jazz piano with two of the finest pianists performing today. Benny Green, born in 1965 in California  has the history of jazz at his fingertips. In his teens he was with Eddie Henderson, and later he recorded with Ray Brown and Art Blakey. Today he has his own world class trio. Tamir Hendleman born in Israel in 1972 was winning awards at 14.  He has accompanied singers  Barbara Streisand and Natalie Cole and works with Jeff Hamilton's trio and big band.  Hear the different styles of two of the best tonight on the 9 O'clock Special.Tamir Tamir Hendelman  Benny Green Benny Green
