More than 22,000 Arizonans have applied for and received permission from the Department of Health Services to use medical marijuana. And the vast majority, some 85 percent, are requesting to grow their own.
But as the state implements the voter approved initiative, questions remain about what role, if any, the federal government will play in allowing marijuana to be grown and used for medicinal purposes.
