If you are flying in or out of Sky Harbor Airport this weekend, allow for some delays.
The north runway will be closed starting Friday at 11 p.m. until Monday at 6:00 a.m. while crews perform maintenance work. Planes will take off and land from the airport’s other two runways. Airport officials say there could be delays of approximately 25 minutes. Peak times on Sky Harbor’s runways are generally between 8-10 a.m. and 7-10 p.m.
