Jared Loughner has pleaded guilty to 19 counts in the Tucson shooting rampage that killed six people and wounded 13 others, including former-Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
Loughner entered the plea Tuesday after a federal judge found him mentally competent, following months of forced treatment for schizophrenia. The plea deal means he won't face the death penalty from federal authorities, there still remains a possibility he could face state charges which could include the death penalty.
Loughner is scheduled to be sentenced in Federal Court on Nov. 15 facing life in prison without the ability for parole.
