Fixing a broken border

Former Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard discusses practical steps that can be taken to make the U.S.-Mexico border safer. Goddard says the Treasury Department needs to get involved to hit Mexican drug cartels. As Goddard put it, "it's all about the money." Goddard also advocates a closer relationship between the United States and Mexico in limiting the power and influence of cartels.

Goddard has written a three-part series for Arizona State University's Morrison Institute for Public Policy called 'How to Fix a Broken Border.'
