Mark Grace facing felony DUI charges

Former Arizona Diamondbacks player and broadcaster Mark Grace faces felony charges in connection with his DUI arrest two months ago. The Maricopa County Attorney’s office announced the indictment Thursday.

Grace was arrested Aug. 23 in Scottsdale. Police reports show his blood alcohol level at .095. That’s over the legal limit of .08.

This was Grace’s second DUI arrest in a little over a year. His license was suspended after the first arrest and he was required to use an interlock device in the vehicle.

Police say the former ballplayer was driving without a license and did not have the required device in his car when he was stopped the second time.

As a result he faces DUI charges and accusations of driving with a suspended license and without the interlock. He could face more than three years in prison if convicted.

The Diamondbacks dropped Grace from the broadcast team after his second arrest.
