The jury has spoken in the Jodi Arias trial. Arias has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of former boyfriend Travis Alexander.
The trial that began Jan. 2 ended at 1:50 p.m. after 15 hours of jury deliberation. Arias began to cry as the verdict was read. She now faces either life in prison or a death sentence in the 2008 Mesa murder.
Arias confessed to killing to Alexander but continually claimed it was in self-defense. The trial quickly became a nationwide media circus, for its violent and sexual details.
The next phase of the trial begins in Phoenix on Thursday at 1 p.m.
