School bus collides with SUV, sparks investigation

Sheriff's deputies in Coconino County are investigating the collision of a school bus and an SUV, east of Flagstaff , Monday. Spokesman Gerry Blair said there are a number of issues to resolve before a decision is made about whether citations will be issued.

“We’re not seeing any type of impairment that we can tell, so we’ll continue the investigation,” Blair said. “There may be a few more witness interviews that we need to conduct. And then we will go ahead and make a determination as to enforcement.”

Blair said three students were on the bus at the time of the accident. Two of them were treated at a hospital and released.
