ADOT Business Signs To Pop Up In Urban Areas

The Arizona Department of Transportation is bringing those large blue signs advertising services ahead for travelers on rural highways to urban areas this fall. Spokeswoman Laura Douglas says there are 300 exits in four metro areas where the signs will go up.

“As they aid drivers throughout the rural areas, this will be the same type program to help drivers locate a specific business or service as they are driving through the urban areas,” Douglas said.

Douglas says the signs will first move into the Phoenix area followed by Tucson , Yuma and Flagstaff .
