Police Treating Teen?s Death As Homicide

Phoenix police said they are treating the death of an aspiring teenage boxer as a homicide, after his parents found him dead in his home Tuesday. Sergeant Trent Crump said 17-year-old Alexis Urbina-Ochoa was home from school Tuesday morning and last seen alive at 10:30 a.m. Three hours later he was found lying on the floor, his body showing signs of trauma.

“There were no obvious signs of any forced entry to the home with our investigators over to look at, but we have learned in the last few hours that there appear to be items missing from the home,” Crump said.

He said the teen was well liked, and police have no motive for the killing.
