This week, half a dozen Arizona lawmakers led by House speaker Andy Tobin are in Mexico City on a trade mission. Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton is among a group heading to China to take in meetings at the World Economic Forum, and Gov. Jan Brewer was recently in India, also in the attempt to attract businesses to Arizona.
But despite some lofty goals presented when these trips are announced, what are the best possible results and how can they be achieved?
