Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is crediting Canadian law enforcement officials for the arrest of a teen who had made Internet threats against him and his family. The sheriff says the threats went too far.
“I’m concerned about my family; now they seem to be zeroing in on my family,” Arpaio said. “That’s a no-no. You don’t do that. They want to go threaten me, that’s okay. But you don’t go threatening my family.”
Arpaio says this is just the latest in a string of threats and arrests against him. And, he continues to maintain that while he’s upset about the threats, they will not stop him from continuing his law enforcement programs.
